We are seeking full time Physical Security Systems Technicians, based in our Portland, OR office. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting and maintaining security systems.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Installing field devices
- Programming systems
- Deploying IP video solutions
- Delivering product familiarization training to end users
- Managing medium to large-sized projects
Successful candidates will have the following skills and qualifications:
- 06 License Oregon (required), Washington LEA (preferred)
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in the physical security, fire alarm or low voltage communication industry
- Comprehensive understanding of security systems
- Experience with Lenel/S2, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Mercury Based access control, Milestone is helpful
- Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis
- Overnight travel may be required on an as-needed basis
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Valid drivers license with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, minimum level of auto insurance as required, and ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Effective communication skills for both internal and external customers
- Attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Ability to complete daily time entry from home via the internet
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety requirements.
